Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Kuhnert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German Grollende Löwen im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 645.000,00 (€ 566.833,64).
