In the The Sunday Sale - Property of the Late Monty Lewis, removed from Hyver Manor & Property of the Late Dr. William Lindsaygordon auction, the work A Pair of Ceramic Tiles, 1872-1881 sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,235.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William de Morgan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Perseus and Andromeda, which sold at auction in February 2003 for GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,978.65).

Für andere Arbeiten von William de Morgan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Perseus and Andromeda beobachtet, die im Februar 2003 für GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.978,65) versteigert wurde.
