In June 2003 Christies in London held the auction Victorian Pictures, which included the work Still life with peaches, a pomegranate, grapes in a tazza, a pineapple, an orange, plums and pears, amongst roses, poppies and vines on a carved oak chest, draped with a rug, a landscape beyond by William Duffield.
