Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work On The Wings Of The Wind by William Minshall Birchall for GBP 188.00 (€ 214.65). This price was achieved in the auction Of Royal and Noble Descent at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by William Minshall Birchall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tower Bridge, London in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,969.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit On The Wings Of The Wind von William Minshall Birchall für GBP 188,00 (€ 214,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Of Royal and Noble Descent bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Minshall Birchall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tower Bridge, London im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.969,91).
