This artwork by Winifred Nicholson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September this year. In the Blazing a TrailModern British Women auction, the work View from my Bedroom sold for GBP 57,550.00 (€ 57,550.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Winifred Nicholson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St Ives Harbour in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 245,000.00 (€ 289,075.91).

In der Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women wurde die Arbeit View from my Bedroom für GBP 57.550,00 (€ 57.550,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Winifred Nicholson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St Ives Harbour im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 245.000,00 (€ 289.075,91).
