This artwork by Wu Li achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in May 2018. In the The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,547.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Li achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Mountains In Seclusion in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,080,000.00 (€ 715,489.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Li erzielte im Mai 2018 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.547,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Li erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Mountains In Seclusion im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.080.000,00 (€ 715.489,87).
