The work Tang Poems In Running Script Calligraphy by Xie Lansheng was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2003. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 57,360.00 (€ 6,359.06), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xie Lansheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,863.85).

Die Arbeit Tang Poems In Running Script Calligraphy von Xie Lansheng wurde im Oktober 2003 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 57.360,00 (€ 6.359,06) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Xie Lansheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.863,85) versteigert wurde.
