A top price for Yang Mingyi - as previously expected
The work Village By The River by Yang Mingyi was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 575,000.00 (€ 54,564.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Village By The River is the most expensive artwork by Yang Mingyi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Village By The River von Yang Mingyi kam im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 54.564,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 600.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Village By The River das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yang Mingyi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
