In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Greek Katerina sold for GBP 55,250.00 (€ 66,801.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yannoulis Halepas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek The Story Of Sleeping Beauty, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 115,250.00 (€ 139,345.91).
