Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coney Island, 1938 by Yasuo Kuniyoshi was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in June 2010. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,068.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuo Kuniyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy With Cow in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 271,500.00 (€ 256,664.78).
