In March 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Street Art, which included the work Yaze Par Yaze, 1998 by Yaze. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,275.00 42% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yaze have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre in February 2012 with an auction result of EUR 5,355.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im März 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Street Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yaze Par Yaze, 1998 von Yaze zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.275,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yaze auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.355,00.
