Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Safed by Yehezkel Streichman was sold in the Israeli and International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,418.83). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yehezkel Streichman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn At My Window in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Safed von Yehezkel Streichman wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Israeli and International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.418,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yehezkel Streichman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn At My Window im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81).
