Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2009 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Australian Calligraphic Signs, Opus No. 1 by Yvonne Audette. It changed hands for a price of AUD 48,000.00 (€ 28,220.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Yvonne Audette have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2007 the work Australian Construction In Oil, No. 21 was auctioned for AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2009 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian Calligraphic Signs, Opus No. 1 von Yvonne Audette zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 48.000,00 (€ 28.220,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Audette konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2007 die Arbeit Australian Construction In Oil, No. 21 für AUD 90.000,00 (€ 53.817,90) versteigert.
