Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 12.12.67 by Zao Wou-Ki was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 6,120,000.00 (€ 645,757.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,800,000.00 – 6,800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zao Wou-Ki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29.09.64. in May last year with an auction result of HKD 278,000,000.00 (€ 33,004,566.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 12.12.67 von Zao Wou-Ki wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.120.000,00 (€ 645.757,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.800.000,00 – 6.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zao Wou-Ki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 29.09.64. im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 278.000.000,00 (€ 33.004.566,21).
