The work Shelf by Zhang Enli was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in March last year. It achieved a price of CNY 3,024,000.00 (€ 429,897.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Enli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maidens, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 10,050,000.00 (€ 1,193,150.68).

Die Arbeit Shelf von Zhang Enli kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CNY 3.024.000,00 (€ 429.897,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Enli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maidens beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 10.050.000,00 (€ 1.193.150,68) versteigert wurde.
