The work Landscape by Zhang Hong was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. It achieved a price of USD 26,250.00 (€ 23,517.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Hong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Studio by a Secluded Stream, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Hong wurde im September 2015 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 26.250,00 (€ 23.517,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Hong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Studio by a Secluded Stream beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72) versteigert wurde.
