Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Zhang Hong was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in Sidney in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 2,460.00 (€ 2,334.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Hong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio by a Secluded Stream in April last year with an auction result of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Hong wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in Sidney versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 2.460,00 (€ 2.334,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Hong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio by a Secluded Stream im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72).
