Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Zhao Gang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,308.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Gang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 472,000.00 (€ 56,589.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhao Gang kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.308,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Gang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 472.000,00 (€ 56.589,30).
