Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Tree by Zhang Lu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,490.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Lu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes and Figure in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 5,175,000.00 (€ 532,781.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Tree von Zhang Lu kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.490,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Lu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes and Figure im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.175.000,00 (€ 532.781,32).
