Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhu Sheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Bamboo And Rock sold for HKD 167,300.00 (€ 10,859.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhu Sheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ink Bamboo in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 57,358.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Sheng erzielte im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock für HKD 167.300,00 (€ 10.859,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Sheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ink Bamboo im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 57.358,61).
