Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carnations in a Basket by Abbott Fuller Graves was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,162.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abbott Fuller Graves achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grandmother's Doorway in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 180,000.00 (€ 145,760.79).

Die Arbeit Carnations in a Basket von Abbott Fuller Graves kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.162,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abbott Fuller Graves erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grandmother's Doorway im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 180.000,00 (€ 145.760,79).
