Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adolphe Weisz could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the A VIEW OVER EATON SQUAREA PRIVATE COLLECTION auction, the work Playing With Mother changed hands for GBP 600.00 (€ 881.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Weisz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Odalisque in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 50,190.00 (€ 71,087.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adolphe Weisz konnte im November 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion A VIEW OVER EATON SQUAREA PRIVATE COLLECTION wechselte die Arbeit Playing With Mother für GBP 600,00 (€ 881,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Weisz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Odalisque im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.190,00 (€ 71.087,56).
