Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19 Century Paintings - 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries Decorative Arts, which included the work Ferme En Normandie, 1887 by Albert-Gabriel Rigolot. The price achieved of EUR 2,231.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert-Gabriel Rigolot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Villagers in the Desert in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 100,041.68).

Im April 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19 Century Paintings - 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries Decorative Arts durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ferme En Normandie, 1887 von Albert-Gabriel Rigolot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.231,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert-Gabriel Rigolot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Villagers in the Desert im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 100.041,68).
