Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Attente D'Egée by Alberto Savinio was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 300,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Savinio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Croix marine, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 692,750.00 (€ 781,208.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Attente D'Egée von Alberto Savinio wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 300.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alberto Savinio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Croix marine beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 692.750,00 (€ 781.208,28) versteigert wurde.
