In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction PLAYBOY AT 50, which included the work Vargas Girl--"He shouldn't have, but then I shouldn't have either" by Alberto Vargas. Other works by Alberto Vargas have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 71,700.00 (€ 56,918.31) in December 2003 for the work Vargas Girl--"Trick or treat?".
