Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Huesos De Mis Bestias by Alejandro Obregón. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,861.97), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Obregón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bodegón in May last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Huesos De Mis Bestias von Alejandro Obregón zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.861,97) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Obregón erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bodegón im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66).
