Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Andisheh Avini for USD 2,750 (€ 2,430). This price was achieved in the auction Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000 – 10,000 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Andisheh Avini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by another untitled work in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 30,000 (€ 23,098).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andisheh Avini konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Image World | Contemporary Art from a Private American Collection wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 2.750 (€ 2.430) den Besitzer - und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000 – 10.000. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andisheh Avini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen eine weitere Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000 (€ 23.098).
