Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled III by Andisheh Avini for USD 900.00 (€ 811.32). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War to Present at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andisheh Avini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,098.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled III von Andisheh Avini für USD 900,00 (€ 811,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andisheh Avini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.098,24).
