In May 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work A Trouville marée haute temps couvert by André Hambourg. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,837.50 (€ 8,887.57), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by André Hambourg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Première de planches à voile dans l'estuaire de la Touques in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,164.27).

Im Mai 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Trouville marée haute temps couvert von André Hambourg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.837,50 (€ 8.887,57) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Hambourg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Première de planches à voile dans l'estuaire de la Touques im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.164,27).
