Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by André Kertész could be acquired at Bonhams in London in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Broken Window, Paris changed hands for USD 3,200.00 (€ 3,028.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Kertész achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atelier Mondrian, Paris in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 314,000.00 (€ 370,021.21).
