Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brooklyn Bridge, New York, c. 1942 by Andreas Feininger was sold in the Icons of Glamour & Style : The Constantiner Collection auction at Christies in Paris in June 2019. The price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andreas Feininger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Photojournalist (Dennis Stock, Magnum Photographer) in April 2001 with an auction result of USD 41,125.00 (€ 46,343.25).

Die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge, New York, c. 1942 von Andreas Feininger wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Icons of Glamour & Style : The Constantiner Collection bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
