Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Hang Khoai, Hanoi, 2007 by Andrew Moore. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,963.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Andrew Moore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Rouge from Detroit Disassembled in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 62,315.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hang Khoai, Hanoi, 2007 von Andrew Moore zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.963,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrew Moore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Rouge from Detroit Disassembled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 62.315,38).
