Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Void by Anish Kapoor was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 482,500.00 (€ 585,388.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anish Kapoor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,945,250.00 (€ 2,471,462.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Void von Anish Kapoor kam im Februar 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 482.500,00 (€ 585.388,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anish Kapoor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.945.250,00 (€ 2.471.462,02).
