A top price for Anish Kapoor
In July 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included this untitled work by Anish Kapoor. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,945,250.00 (€ 2,471,462.02), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, this work without title is even the most expensive work of art by Anish Kapoor that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anish Kapoor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.945.250,00 (€ 2.471.462,02) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist dieses Werk ohne Titel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Anish Kapoor, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
