In December 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction Patrimoine de Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Vente caritative, which included the work Double Impression Iv by Anni Albers. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,600.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anni Albers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Second Movement I-VI in April this year with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,945.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Patrimoine de Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Vente caritative durch, in der auch die Arbeit Double Impression Iv von Anni Albers zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.600,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anni Albers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Second Movement I-VI im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.945,65).
