The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,788.00 (€ 4,144.74), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie Leibovitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Keith Haring, New York City in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,942.14).
