Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ella Fitzgerald, Beverly Hills, California by Annie Leibovitz was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October this year. The price achieved of USD 5,715.00 (€ 5,407.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie Leibovitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Keith Haring, New York City in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,942.14).
