Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gran Mancha Negra by Antoni Tàpies was sold in the Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 auction at Bonhams in Paris in December last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,112.50 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoni Tàpies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gran ocra amb incisions (Large Ochre with Incisions) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,650,500.00 (€ 2,081,799.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gran Mancha Negra von Antoni Tàpies wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Art de l'Avant-Garde à nos jours1918-2021 bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.112,50 und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoni Tàpies erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gran ocra amb incisions (Large Ochre with Incisions) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.650.500,00 (€ 2.081.799,44).
