In the Important Old Master Paintings auction, the work The Triumph of Caesar sold for USD 160,000.00 (€ 186,176.40) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Apollonio di Giovanni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Battle Before A Walled City, Perhaps The Siege Of Assisi in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,273,000.00 (€ 857,758.91).
