Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Arthur Croft achieved an unexpectedly high price at Koller in September 2019. In the Alte Grafik auction, the work Blick auf das Matterhorn. sold for CHF 2,000.00 (€ 1,838.06) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 900.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Arthur Croft; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Early Morning on the Schynige Platte, Swiss Alps sold at auction in September 2007 with the realized price of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 3,226.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Croft erzielte im September 2019 bei Koller einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Grafik wurde die Arbeit Blick auf das Matterhorn. für CHF 2.000,00 (€ 1.838,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 900,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Arthur Croft; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Early Morning on the Schynige Platte, Swiss Alps im September 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 3.226,33).
