In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Gozen Rokuji (6 Am) by Asai Yasuhiro. The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,515.71), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Asai Yasuhiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Crossroads, 2022, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,178.81).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gozen Rokuji (6 Am) von Asai Yasuhiro zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.515,71) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Asai Yasuhiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Crossroads, 2022 beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.178,81) versteigert wurde.
