Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Auguste Herbin for EUR 43,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Herbin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Route De Montagne En Corse in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 855,000.00 (€ 732,647.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition von Auguste Herbin für EUR 43.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Herbin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Route De Montagne En Corse im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 855.000,00 (€ 732.647,81).
