Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Femmes Au Cheval by Auguste Mambour was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Mambour achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fragment in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 127,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Femmes Au Cheval von Auguste Mambour kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Mambour erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fragment im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 127.500,00.
