It achieved a price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 28,334.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by B. Prabha - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 90,000.00 (€ 70,938.76).

Die Arbeit Fisher Girl with Net von B. Prabha kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 28.334,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Für andere Arbeiten von B. Prabha mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2006 für USD 90.000,00 (€ 70.938,76) versteigert wurde.
