The work Composition Haute Pate by Bernard Quentin was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,060.00 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bernard Quentin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composition, 1951 sold at auction in July 2010 with the realized price of EUR 5,355.00.

Die Arbeit Composition Haute Pate von Bernard Quentin wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.060,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bernard Quentin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composition, 1951 im Juli 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.355,00.
