In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Haystack In A Field (Recto); And A Figure Study (Verso) by Camille Pissarro. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,356.19), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).

Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Haystack In A Field (Recto); And A Figure Study (Verso) von Camille Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.356,19) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.682.500,00 (€ 23.879.608,50).
