Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Natura Morta by Carlo Carrà was sold in the Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics auction at Christies in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,781.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Carrà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il meriggio in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 480,050.00.

Die Arbeit Natura Morta von Carlo Carrà wurde im Februar 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 25.781,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Carrà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il meriggio im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480.050,00.
