In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The start of the race by Charles Augustus Henry Lutyens. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 635.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00.
