In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work L'Embarcadère du ferry-boat à Marseille by Charles Camoin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,611.23), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Camoin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 266,966.00.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Embarcadère du ferry-boat à Marseille von Charles Camoin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.611,23) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Camoin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.966,00.
