Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,461.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Edward Hallé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Luna in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 56,109.49).
